Passenger Terminal at the Port of Maceió receives first ship of the 2024/2025 season

The Passenger Terminal at the Port of Maceió received, on the morning of this Monday (18), the Costa Pacífica cruise ship, the first of the 2024/2025 cruise season, which will be the largest in the history of the capital of Alagoas. Around 3,800 passengers were welcomed with initiatives by the Port of Maceió, the Municipal Tourism Department, and the State Tourism Department, as well as craft, food, and beverage exhibition stands at the Passenger Terminal.
During the month of November, the Port of Maceió will receive 11 ships, amounting to 30 cruise stops and an estimated 148,000 berths. The administrator of the Port of Maceió emphasized the importance of the season for tourism in Alagoas.
"The Administration of the Port of Maceió once again prepared everything focusing on logistics and efficiency to welcome the passengers who will disembark in the capital of Alagoas. Throughout the season, there will be more than 140,000 tourists, which represents a significant impact on Maceió’s economy. To accommodate all this activity, the Port has promoted advancements and invested in logistics in all areas. We expect it to be a very successful season," said Diogo Holanda.
The next ship to dock at the Port of Maceió will be the MSC Orchestra, on the 24th of this month, at 8:00 am. Until March 2025, there will be 30 vessel stops, with an estimated 148,000 berths. In total, 11 ships are scheduled to dock at the Port of Maceió, including: MSC Grandiosa (17 stops), Costa Pacífica (2), Costa Diadema (2), Seven Seas Mariner (1), MSC Orchestra (2), Costa Deliziosa (1), Artania (1), Vile Vie Odyssey (1), Volendam (1), MSC Seaview (1), and MSC Splendida (1).
