The Port of Maceió has 16 areas allocated to port operations, including areas available for lease and leased areas, in addition to a Passenger Terminal, electronic road scale and seven berths. The land is located within the circle of 1,320 meters in radius, with the center in the Port Authority of Alagoas and partially within the 100 meter range along the Seafront.

Passenger terminal
Located in the rear area of berth 3, the Passenger Terminal was completed in December 2022 and has 1,668.13 m² of built area and capacity to receive up to 4,000 people. The structure, composed of a ground floor and a mezzanine, has a large and flexible space to welcome visitors, allowing the assembly of temporary structures to support tourists, in addition to having, on its sides, bathrooms, medical services and a pantry.
Electronic Road Scale
The Port of Maceió has an electronic road scale for public use, with an area of 26m² and a capacity of up to 140 tons.
Docking Facilities
The Port of Maceió can serve ships with a maximum recommended operational draft of 11.00 m and 60,000 TPB, in accordance with Instruction/APMC No. 091/2019, and has 7 operational berths, forming a darn with a total length of 1,794 meters, depth between 10.00 and 11.00 meters, accommodating ships with a length of up to 330 meters.

Storage Facilities
Warehouses
The Porto facilities have seven warehouses. Warehouses A1, A2, A3 and A4 are located close to the entrance to Porto, in the current AA-11 and AA-15, totaling 10,037.31 m² of covered area and a ceiling height of 12 meters.
The Bulk Warehouse, or Warehouse 5, located in the current AA-10, is located close to the Multiple Use Pier 2 in the current AA-10, is intended for the storage of solid vegetable bulks and has a capacity of 15,000 tons and in an area of 6,350 m².
Warehouses A6 and A7 are part of the so-called Sugar Terminal since 1978. Initially occupied by the extinct Sugar and Alcohol Institute (IAA), and since the 90s by Empresa Alagoana de Terminais (EMPAT). They are located close to berth 5 in the current Area Affected by Operation 12. Each has the capacity to store 90,000 tons.

Areas not affected by port operations
At the Port of Maceió there is the administrative building which also houses the rooms that house ANVISA and the Federal Revenue Service, main parking lot, buildings for the administrative sectors of the Labor Management Body (OGMO), Operation Sector (SETOPE), Terminal of Containers (TECON), Subsector of Workshops and Equipment of the Port of Maceió (SUSOFE), General Archive and administrative facilities of outsourced companies.
