The Federal Police and the Military Police of Alagoas carried out the first integrated public security operation on a cruise ship that left the Port of Maceió bound for Europe last Tuesday (1st).

In the operation, luggage was inspected and a new system was implemented in the immigration registration operation, with more effective and joint participation between the agencies involved, such as the Federal Police, Port of Maceió, Maritime Agent and Cruise Operators, aiming at greater agility in the boarding and inspection process, ensuring stricter and safer control for passengers and crew.

This collaboration demonstrates the commitment of the Immigration Department to the security and fluidity of immigration procedures.
