Port of Maceió Welcomes Two Brazilian Navy Ships for Free Public Visits This Weekend

The Port of Maceió will host the Multi-Purpose Dock Ship "Bahia" (G-40) and the Frigate "Defensora" (F-41) of the Brazilian Navy (MB), which will be open for free public visitation on January 18 and 19, from 2 PM to 5 PM.
This exhibition is part of the Aspirantex-2025 Operation conducted by the Brazilian Navy. The mission will take place in the area between the states of Rio de Janeiro and Rio Grande do Norte, including visits to the ports of Maceió, Salvador, Recife, Cabedelo, and Natal.
The goal of the visitation is to provide society with the opportunity to learn about MB's operational capabilities, strengthen its connection with the population of Alagoas, and highlight the importance of maritime awareness and Brazil's "Blue Amazon."
