The Administration of the Port of Maceió published a notice for the accreditation of exhibitors at the Passenger Terminal during the 2024/2025 cruise season. The Public Call aims to accredit individuals or legal entities interested in exhibiting pieces of crafts, plastic arts and also in the food sector, with drinks and food. Registration takes place from September 2nd to 27th, on the Porto de Maceió website, and the pre-selection is scheduled to be announced on October 8th.
According to the notice, the exhibition will take place during the cruise season, depending on the scale of the vessels, and there may be changes. At the Passenger Terminal, 14 stands will be available for exhibition at each ship stop, with these spaces divided into categories: clothing; bed, table and bath; ceramic products, straw and wood crafts and promotional clothing from the Alagoas destination and food and drinks.
After the great success of the 2023/2024 cruise season, which ended at the end of April, the expectation is that the next one will be even bigger. According to data from the Port of Maceió, the 2023/2024 season was the largest in history, with an intense flow of ships in five months of operation. In total, there were 10 ships, which made 28 stops, handling more than 100 thousand passengers at the Passenger Terminal at the Port of Maceió.
The expectation is that 148 thousand beds will be offered in the season that starts in November this year and runs until April 2025. There will be 14 ships, making 33 stops at the Port of Maceió.
